BlackTail Pacific · Modular Distributed Power & Subsurface Diagnostics

Turn Stranded Heat and High-Enthalpy Resources into Dispatchable Megawatts.

BlackTail Pacific engineers and deploys closed-loop Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) power units configured for rapid field mobilization. We bridge the gap between subsurface resource discovery and revenue-generating electrical power.

Reverse-Engineered Industrial Applications

Heat is already being made. Most of it is being wasted.

Industrial & Natural Gas Generator Waste-Heat Recovery

Midstream compressor stations and heavy manufacturing plants lose up to 50% of fuel energy through exhaust stacks. Pacific’s ORC units capture flue-gas and jacket-water heat, converting waste thermal energy into emissions-free, on-site electricity that lowers operating costs without increasing fuel consumption.

Nuclear Secondary-Side Heat Integration

Nuclear secondary loops and balance-of-plant systems discard low-to-medium-grade heat. Pacific conducts controlled thermal evaluations to model heat-exchange loops that generate supplemental parasitic or auxiliary power while maintaining primary-loop safety, licensing boundaries, and cooling system stability.

Emergency Response & Critical Infrastructure Islanding

When the central grid trips, critical assets face downtime. When configured with continuous thermal or hybrid generation, Pacific’s modular units provide island-mode, black-start-capable electrical power, maintaining continuity across emergency defense installations, remote clinics, and municipal pumping stations.

Federal Clean Energy Incentives (IRA Section 48E & 45Y)

Projects utilizing Pacific’s zero-emission modular generation equipment may be eligible for significant federal investment tax credits (Section 48E) or production tax credits (Section 45Y). Realization depends on site-specific structuring, prevailing wage and apprenticeship compliance, and domestic content criteria.

This is not tax advice; eligibility is not guaranteed and must be confirmed with qualified advisors.
